Strand Of Oaks have released a video for the song "Shut In," the fourth track from the upcoming album, HEAL, that will be available June 24th via Dead Oceans. You can watch the video above.
The video is a parody of a 60 Minutes television interview, where a character by the name of Seymour Freshwater imitates the role of Morley Safer. He visits Timothy Showalter, Strand of Oaks frontman, at his house which he hasn't left in three years. They sit down for an interview, where Timothy speaks the lyrics of the song and shows him items in his home before running outside in a euphoric moment.
It's a slow rocker of a song with intensely emotional lyrics. Towards the end, the mood of the song shifts as softly played piano notes accompany the final two lines of lyrics.
