The Smashing Pumpkins have shared "Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)" from their upcoming album, Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun.  Check out the lyric video for above on YouTube.

The song features steady strumming, cleverly placed string arrangements, and Corgan's unique vocal delivery.  Fans may hear hints of "1979," from the band's 1995 breakthrough album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.  What sets this song apart are the guitar leads from James Iha that work in tandem with the vocal melodies.

Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun is scheduled for release on November 16, 2018 through Napalm Records.  The 8-track album was recorded at Shangri La Studios with producer Rick Rubin.  It will be the first release to feature original members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin since 2000's Machina/The Machines of God and its follow up which was released only as a free download, Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music

Pick up the new album on Amazon.  In June, the band shared a music video for the album's first single "Solara."
