Rising Florida folk-rockers Roadkill Ghost Choir are releasing their debut full-length, In Tongues, on August 19th. You can listen to the second single off the record, "Slow Knife," above.

The song is a groovy, southern rock-inspired jam, drawn from '70s bands like Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. The chorus is catchy and the guitar throughout is rollicking. With "Slow Knife," Roadkill Ghost Choir have created a song that will fit in perfectly on the playlist for your next cross-country road-trip.

Lead vocalist Andrew Shepard talked to Paste about the recording process for In Tongues:

I think about half the album was written way before we recorded it, the other half was written like the month before we recorded it. It was a terrifying process, we’ve never done anything like that before.
