"Sober" - Childish Gambino [SoundCloud Audio Stream + Lyrics]

Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover will be putting out a double album later this year called STN MTN/Kauai. It will consist of a mixtape from the Gangsta Grillz series called STN MTN and a record called Kauai. You can listen to "Sober," a single from the record, above.

For "Sober," Gambino eschews rapping completely, and instead creates a light, summery R&B track. Glover's vocals are smooth and soulful, reminiscent of artists like Frank Ocean and Michael Jackson. The production is bouncy and upbeat, and it all culminates to a bass drop that leads to some otherworldly synthesizers. It's a track that showcases Bino's versatility and will get listeners excited for the new record when it drops.
