Today, Trey Anastasio shared the first single from his upcoming 2015 album, Paper Wheels. Listen to the free flowing track "Sometime After Sunset" above.

Hints of old-school disco can be heard in the upbeat rhythm. The drum beat serves as the song's backbone, while guitar, bass, keyboards, and horns provide funky elements. Trey's vocals shine bright as he sings the positive reinforcing lyrics, and no song would be complete without a jammed out solo towards the end!

Here is some information about the upcoming album per the Phish Dry Goods website:

Produced by Anastasio and longtime collaborator Bryce Goggin, Paper Wheels was recorded last year at The Barn and features the immortal TAB line up of drummer Russ Lawton, bassist Tony Markellis, and keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, augmented by the full horn section of trombonist / vocalist Natalie Cressman, multi-instrumentalist James Casey, and longtime TAB trumpeter / vocalist Jennifer Hartswick.

Paper Wheels will be available October 30, 2015 via Rubber Jungle Records / ATO Records. Pick it up on the Trey Anastasio official webstore.

Trey has also announced that he'll be on the road in November for a few concerts with his solo band. For more information about that, as well as his latest music and news, check out his Zumic artist page.
