Today would have been Gregg Allman's 70th birthday, and in commemoration his estate has shared a music video for the emotional ballad "Song for Adam," which was originally composed by Jackson Browne. Watch it above, courtesy of the artist's YouTube channel.

Directed by Erica Silverman, the video alternates between the past and present. The visuals focus on two biker buddies hanging out and cruising the open road before shifting to the present, where we see an older man enjoying his free time. Silverman shared her thoughts about the video with Rolling Stone:

We worked hard on this little video, shooting in multiple cities all over Texas. I grew up listening to the Allman Brothers, and couldn't believe the opportunity. Gregg and his music represent so much to so many different people. I hope the video carries an ounce of his spirit. This is for you Gregg, I miss you, we all miss you. And congrats on that Grammy nomination! Some legends never die

"Song for Adam" is the final track on Gregg's 2017 album Southern Blood. Pick up the LP on Amazon or stream it for free here on Zumic.
