"Speed Queen" - Thunderpussy [Spotify Audio Single]

These are exciting times for Thunderpussy. The band recently announced that they signed to Stardog Records/Republic Records, and have shared the first single from their upcoming debut album. Listen to "Speed Queen" above, via Spotify.

Featuring vocalist Molly Sides, guitarist Whitney Petty, bassist Leah Julius, and drummer Ruby Dunphy, the quartet deliver a ferocious rock tune with hints of a vintage '70s sound. Dunphy's drums open the track, and and are soon joined by Petty's monstrous riffs. Molly's echoey vocals compliment the song's overall explosive vibe. The tune shifts towards an upbeat rhythm at the end, leading to a dynamic finish. The future looks bright for the band, and we can't wait to hear more!
