Celebrating the release of their eighth studio album, They Want My Soul, Spoon made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night -- the 100th episode of the show since Fallon began hosting -- and performed the album's second single, "Do You."

The song's catchy, guitar-driven sound pleases the ears, but what really makes it shine is the vigorous vocal presence of frontman Britt Daniel. Indeed one of the joys of watching it live is witnessing Daniel onstage, the performance seemingly wound into his entire being as he lets out his trademark cries into the mic. Also be sure to check out the charming glockenspiel keyboard sounds that accompany Daniel's "doos" about a minute and a half through, which cut through the texture more clearly than in the studio version.

They Want My Soul is out now, and you can stream it here from Spotify or buy it at Amazon. Watch the music videos for "Do You" as well as the album's other singles, "Inside Out" and "Rent I Pay," here at Zumic. For Spoon's latest music, news, and tour dates, check out their Zumic artist page.
