Recently, alternative rock group Imagine Dragons stopped by the SiriusXM studios to play a cover of Ben E. King's 1962 classic "Stand By Me." You can watch their performance above.
The band keep the same mellow groove as the original, with a stripped down feel. Wayne "Wing" Sermon's clean guitar playing replaces the string section found on King's version, while vocalist Dan Reynolds displays his exceptional vocal abilities. "Stand By Me" is a timeless piece, and it allows Imagine Dragons display their talents.
Smoke + Mirrors is the latest album from the group. You can listen to it and read our review here on Zumic. It's currently available via Amazon (MP3, CD, Vinyl).
The band also announced a lengthy tour where they will be playing in support of Smoke + Mirrors. You can find additional tour info, as well their latest music and news, by visiting the group's Zumic artist page.
