This week, Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released in theaters worldwide as the seventh installment of the Star Wars film series. Today, the movie's score was released in an album format.

Composed by John Williams, who also scored all six of the previous Star Wars films, this is another epic orchestral work that's both familiar and exploratory. The soundtrack features 23 pieces that span 77 minutes. The music was recorded at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, California over a course of 12 sessions in a five month period between June and November, 2015.

It's the perfect music for when you're practicing your lightsaber moves at home, working on your Jedi mind tricks, or pumping yourself up on your commute.

Pick up the Star Wars: The Force Awakens soundtrack on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3). You can also stream the full album above, via Spotify.
