Earlier this summer, electropop band Hot Chip released their sixth studio record, Why Make Sense, and now, they've dropped a music video accompanying one of their singles, "Started Right." With heavy syncopation, a driving beat, and sassy lyrics, the song is nothing short of funky and fun.
The video itself is similarly entertaining, but definitely a little more odd. It's set in a dim, empty lounge where an unnamed girl sings along to the track as the video gradually becomes more and more jumbled. The girl changes in appearance frequently, dancing between large typography of the song's lyrics splashed across the screen. Given the title of their latest album, we weren't expecting to fully comprehend the video, but we definitely enjoy it nonetheless.
