Wiz Khalifa has just released the official video for the track "Still Down," featuring artists Ty Dolla $ign and Chevy Woods, off of the album Blacc Hollywood which dropped in August 2014. Both Chevy Woods and Ty Dolla $ign are signed to Khalifa's label, Taylor Gang Entertainment, and have been featured in Wiz's other hit singles such as "You and Your Friends" and "Taylor Gang." Blacc Hollywood has proved to be a successful album as it is the source of his huge hit "We Dem Boyz" which took over radio stations and reached number 4 on the Billboard Rap Charts.

In the beginning of the video, we are introduced to the violent hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where Wiz and Chevy grew up. Throughout the video, there are short clips of Wiz's friends speaking of the hardships they've endured while growing up "on the block" and the troubling sights they have seen in their lifetime. One particularly striking moment is when a friend says Khalifa's ability to make it out of the neighborhood of Hazelwood Avenue "makes me think we could really do it." Although, Wiz has been able to make it out of the hood, he doesn't let the fame keep him away from coming back to the area he grew up in and keeping in contact with "day one" friends. "Still Down" is another example of how Wiz started from the bottom, and stays grounded even though he's had major success.

Blacc Hollywood is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3). You can also stream the album for free and read our review right here on Zumic.
