Last night, Brad Paisley hosted the 2013 Country Music Association Awards, where they paid tribute to "the greatest country singer of all time," George Jones. Country icons George Strait and Alan Jackson took to the stage to perform an excellent rendition of Jones' classic "He Stopped Loving Her Today," while a montage of photos was projected behind them. The song's already emotional tone was amplified by the somber nature of the occasion, and it was a fitting and loving tribute to the country music legend.
Jones passed away in April of this year at the age of 81. Watch the video above.
