Last night, something very special happened at the KROQ Weenie Roast in Irvine, CA. The Stone Temple Pilots played their first live show with Chester Bennington as the lead singer, replacing Scott Weiland.

YouTube videos have emerged of the first ever performance of a new song called "Out Of Time" as well as the final 3 songs of the unannounced set. The band is firing on all cylinders, with Dean DeLeo playing some really great, flawless guitar licks and the rhytm section of Dean DeLeo and Eric Kretz laying down some insanely heavy, deep grooves. This new Stone Temple Pilots lineup with Chester on vocals has got to be the biggest, baddest thing happening in the hard rock world right now. Check it out!

"Out of Time" (the video volume is very low, so you will need to adjust your volume to hear it... in other words, crank it all the way up and enjoy!):

"Interstate Love Song", "Dead & Bloated", "Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart" (after watching the song above, you might want to ease back your volume a little bit before playing this video of some classic STP tunes):
