Tame Impala pay tribute to Michael Jackson with a trippy new rendition of "Stranger in Moscow." The track was posted via the band's facebook with the caption "MJ 4 Eva."
A less familiar song from The King of Pop, "Stranger in Moscow" proves to be the perfect tune for a psychedelic takeover. The ballad first appeared on Jackson's 1996 album HIStory: Past, Present, and Future and tells a story of isolation. Combining Kevin Parker's airy vocals with Jackson's lyrics creates a haunting monument as he asks, "how does it feel to be alone?"
Tame Impala last released Lonerism in 2012 and are currently working on a new album.
