If you missed last week's 12 Year Anniversary of DFA Records party in Brooklyn, have no fear. The good people at Red Bull Music Academy have been kind enough to offer a stream of DFA head honcho James Murphy's DJ set from the night. We are left to only imagine the smell of hipster sweat on an early summer night, the cigs being chain smoked, the amazing dance floor. Here are some pictures courtesy of Stereogum to piss you off even more for missing it.
Murphy's set was eclectic, intelligent and super dance oriented. You know, just like the DFA roster.
Murphy also sat down for an in-depth 90 minute Q&A as part of RBMA's lecture series, which you can view here.
