The multi-talented Mark Ronson and Tame Impala's Kevin Parker shared a music video featuring their songs "Summer Breaking" and "Daffodils" from Ronson's 2015 album Uptown Special. Watch above.

The music video was directed by Theo Wenner, rock photographer and son of Rolling Stone co-founder & publisher Jann Wenner. Theo spoke to Rolling Stone about the making of the music video:

This video is something that Mark and I have been discussing on and off for a year prior to making it. It came about in a very abstract way. We had long conversations just about color and times of day. I had it in my head the whole time that we should set it in the tropics. That's the place, those are the colors that I pictured listening to the two songs.

Ronson added:

'Summer Breaking' is probably my personal favorite on Uptown Special... And seeing as Kevin and Tame Impala are so hot right now, we thought we could really make the most of this 'hotness' by making a video for not one but two of his songs from Uptown Special, 'Summer Breaking' and 'Daffodils.' Theo Wenner made a beautiful video that really captures (and goes beyond) what we were envisioning when Michael Chabon wrote those haunting lyrics.

The story follows Sarah McDaniel on vacation with her family as "Summer Breaking" plays. She strays away from her family and wanders off by herself. Later on, she meets a boy and follows him into the night as the song shifts to "Daffodil."

After gaining a following on Snapchat, McDaniel has been making waves recently. She was born with a condition called heterochromia irdum (different-color eyes, one is blue and one is brown), and was this year she was the cover model on Playboy magazine's first ever non-nude issue. She said the video was "shot completely on smart phones" on Instagram. Pretty cool!

"Summer Breaking" is an hallucinatory, easy-going tune with dreamy vocals and steady drums. The song transitions well into "Daffodils," a more upbeat and electronic track. Notably, author Michael Chabon contributed lyrics.

Uptown Special is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
