The Raconteurs, featuring Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler, have shared two music videos today.  This is the first new music we have heard from the band in just over ten years.  Check out "Sunday Driver" and "Now That You're Gone" below.

"Sunday Driver" sways with rock attitude featuring catchy riffs and Jack White's passionate vocals.  Transitioning from the muscular riffs and melodies to a delicate groove and lush vocal harmonies midway through gives the tune a classic rock feel that recalls the great British bands of the '60s.  Directed by Steven Sebring, the video shows the band rocking out the tune in a room with flashy 3-D effects mixed in.

"Now That You're Gone"  features a bluesy groove with Brendan Benson's heartfelt vocals supported by quirky riffs and a steady rhythm section of drums, bass, and piano.  Directed by Dikayl Rimmasch and starring burlesque entertainer Gia Genevieve, the black-and-white video again shows the band playing the song as clips of a heartbroken and angry Gia are shown in cinematic fashion.  Gia shared some insight about the video on the band's YouTube channel:

The video is a very rock and roll approach to the wide range of emotions a person goes through when dealing with a broken heart.  Feelings of being weak, angry, vengeful and ultimately the strength to overcome and “crash” through it all.  I had such a lovely time collaborating with such wonderful artists and people.

The two songs will be included on an upcoming release slated for 2019.  In a press release, Jack shared a comment with Mojo Magazine about what fans can expect from the album:

We're knee deep in the trenches of our first new album in a decade... We have a vast amount of genre-pushing songs that bridge the gap between Detroit and Nashville rock and roll.  The album sounds like a World War. It's great to be co-writing songs with Brendan Benson again, the man is a song craftsman.

The two tracks are available as a 7" vinyl that you can pick up on Amazon.

At this time, there is no word whether the band plans to tour.  For more, check out The Raconteurs Zumic artist page.
