"Table at Fool's Tooth" - Guided By Voices [SoundCloud Audio Stream]

Ever since their reformation in 2010, Dayton Ohio's Guided By Voices have been ultra-prolific, releasing five albums, including Motivational Jumpsuit in February. Now just 3 months later, they are releasing a new album called Cool Planet May 19th on Fire Records.

The new song is called "Table at Fool's Tooth" and it has all the elements of classic Guided By Voices. It includes lo-fi production, hard-hitting guitars and vague, mysterious lyrics. It blows by in 80 seconds, but the instrumentation makes it feel like a longer song. It includes a waltzing tempo, guitar swells and breakdowns, and a chorus that will leave you wondering what a "table at fool's tooth" is and how to get one.
