Check out Weird Al performing the Pharrell "Happy" parody, "Tacky," on Conan O'Brien's late night talk show last night. You can also see the official music video for the song right here on Zumic.

"Tacky" is the gift that keeps on giving. While even hardcore Weird Al fans (like myself) wouldn't deny that he is one of the tackiest people on the planet with his hawaiian shirts and shameless copying of other musicians' work, you also got to say that his tackiness is tastefully done. Part of the brilliance of the song is that as Weird Al sings that he's tacky, he isn't being completely ironic.

Walking through Conan's studio while singing, Weird Al puts in a great live performance. Lines like "Now I'm droppin' names almost constantly / That's what Kanye West keeps telling me" and "Got my new résumé, it's printed in Comic Sans" seem to land harder in the live setting. At the end of the video, he dry-humps Conan and jumps on the freakishly tall host. Good times.

Check out Weird Al's new album Mandatory Fun right here on Zumic, and check out his Zumic artist page for his latest music, news, and tour dates.
