Although the name may seem somewhat unfamiliar, Brooklyn rapper Twigg Martin isn't a newcomer to the hip-hop scene. He's been a part of Maino's collective, The Black Flag Mafia, for two years now. However, "Talk Is Cheap" is Martin's first track produced outside of Maino's crew.
Only after hearing the first couple verses it becomes apparent that Twigg's got some serious skill on the mic. With the help of Detroit emcee Royce Da 5'9" spitting rhymes over an old-school, string-adorned beat produced by duo Buda Da Future and Grandz Muzik, the track serves as a great indicator of what Twigg Martin has to offer on his upcoming album, Good Mornin' America, which is due out this summer.
