Saturday Night Live's Vanessa Bayer interviewed sister act Tegan and Sara for her web series, Sound Advice. Watch above.
During her off-time from SNL, Bayer has been sitting down with musicians to dish out hilarious insults and give them intentionally bad advice on how to advance their careers. Her most recent interviewees include acts from Governor's Ball, Drake, and TV On The Radio.
In this edition, the twins explain the "universal themes" of their music as Bayer pokes fun at their angsty songwriting and less-than-sophisticated wardrobe.
We find out that they just did a jingle for an Oreos commercial, as well as a collaboration with The Lonely Island for a song called "Everything is Awesome," featured in the The Lego Movie.
