Philly rockers Bleeding Rainbow have given us a third offering from their upcoming album, Interrupt.
In contrast to the raw fury in "Images" before it, "Tell Me" is an upbeat track with multi-layered, major key vocal harmonies. The guitars are still fuzzed out with several layers of ambient riffage, but the bass line is straight forward rock and roll, backed by big, reverb-soaked drums. Although it diverges from what we've seen from the record so far, "Tell Me" will likely be a stand-out track in an album full of gritty garage and power-pop.
Interrupt is out on February 25th. Pre-order is available now through Kanine Records.
Bleeding Rainbow "Tell Me" lyrics:
Where can I even go
Won’t you tell me what to do
Because I don’t know
Unless you control me
I’ll be on the loose
I’m so lost & so confused
I feel your eyes watching my every move
I’m so confused
How am I being used
I’ll do what you say
Tell me how I should have to behave
Tell me now before it is too late
Tell me I don’t think for myself anyway
Wait as the days go by
Feeling like I’m such a waste
I don’t ask you why
Because I know that you have it all
Planned for me
My brain’s dead I cannot see
