For the first time in their career, Temple of the Dog will be going on tour. The famed '90s Seattle grunge rock supergroup have only performed together in public a small number of times, and only one full one-hour set — which was in 1990 (according to Wikipedia).

The tour will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Temple of the Dog’s first and only album, which will also be getting a deluxe re-issue treatment. They're currently scheduled to be playing arenas and large theaters in just 5 cities: Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and their hometown of Seattle. Stay tuned, as we will be updating this page if any additional dates are added.

The lineup for the tour is set to be the original lineup of Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, backed by Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, and Mike McCready, and drummer Matt Cameron who has been in both groups. Eddie Vedder is not listed as one of the touring band members, even though he did appear on four of the album's ten songs.
