Kings of Leon "Supersoaker":
Last night, Jimmy Kimmel welcomed the Kings of Leon to his outdoor stage to play some songs for the people. "Temple" and "Supersoaker" ended up on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! YouTube Page earlier today.
The band continues to thunder on, after some drama over the past couple years that threatened to completely derail their career. Their new album Mechanical Bull is a good listen, and the songs play very well live. "Temple" gets the groove going, and then "Supersoaker" really drives the performance home.
These songs are true to what made the band hugely successful and unique, while also building on that foundation with more intricate arrangements and technical musicianship than their earlier stuff. It's fun and interesting music, which is how rock and roll should be.
