Check out Wavves' cathartic and quirky new video for their song "That's On Me." The video focuses on a business man who clearly has a lot of pent up frustration. Using an axe and a variety of other destructive tools he smashes soda bottles, water buckets and even a dead pig in an attempt not to take back control of his life. While he smashes and rages the words of the chorus repeat over and over, "do what your brain says/take what you like" — he certainly does.

The video is fun to watch and must have been fun for band members Nathan Williams, Stephen Pope, Jacob Cooper to film. At one point we see some hard core looking, stand-in metal rockers jamming out with guitars and a group of cheerleaders chowing down on ribs like they're hyenas. This video is surprisingly less strange than their last.

With "That's On Me" the punk/surf-rock band manages to make a song that sounds bit grittier than their usual fair, and have a lot of fun doing it.

Wavves released their latest album Afraid of Heights on March 26th of this year. There is a rumor of another album release this year, but we have yet to hear an official announcement. "That's On Me" may appear on the upcoming album.
