The Allman Brothers Band Announce Final Performances: 2014 Beacon Run in NYC [Dates & Ticket Info]

The legendary 45 year old group, Allman Brothers Band, has set October 27th and 28th as the dates for what the group has referred to as their "Final Shows." The performances will be an extension of a postponed Beacon Theatre run that has been rescheduled from March 25th, 26th, 28th, and 29th, to the 21st, 22nd, 24th, and 25th of this October. All purchased tickets for the original sold out shows will be honored at these new dates. Tickets for the first performance in March will correspond with the first show in October, and so forth, for all four. Refunds will be issued by August 1st to any fans unable to attend the new concert dates.

The band will be bringing its four and a half decade career to an end with its longest standing lineup, featuring Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Jaimoe, Oteil Burbridge, and Marc Quinones. Currently on their agenda for this summer is closing out upstate New York's Mountain Jam, headlining their own Peach Music Fesitval in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and an end-of-summer performance at Arrington, Virginia's Lockn' Music Festival. All of these shows will culminate into their final outings at the Beacon Theatre this October.
