The History of the Eagles – Live in Concert is coming to the Pacific. In conjunction with the release of the 2013 documentary History of the Eagles, the tour began on July 6th, 2013. The tour traveled across North America and Europe between 2013 and 2014, and is currently in Oceania.

The first show was in Louisville, Kentucky at the KFC Yum! Center on July 6th, 2013, and this leg of the tour will conclude in Auckland, New Zealand on March 15th, 2015. After a break, the tour will kick back off on May 19 in Austin, and run through the summer throughout the United States. Tickets go on sale to the general public for the spring and summer leg of their US tour on March 20 and 21 at 10 AM, depending on the venue.

Fans traveling abroad can find Eagles tickets for the March 15th concert in Auckland, New Zealand starting at $299 on the secondary market. Australian ticket company Queen of Tickets has tickets for this show, as well as any other major tour that comes through Australia or New Zealand in 2015.

The Eagles were formed in Los Angeles in 1971 by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. With five No. 1 singles, six Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards, and six No. 1 albums, the Eagles were one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s. At the end of the 20th century, two of their albums, Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) and Hotel California, were ranked among the 20 best-selling albums in the United States according to the Recording Industry Association of America. Rolling Stone's list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" had Hotel California ranked 37th.

The Eagles are still one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, having sold more than 150 million records -- 100 million in the United States alone.
