Legendary venue Eleven, formerly known as Yellow officially closed its doors on May 25th, 2013 after twenty-two years of creating an international night life culture that is already sorely missed.
As a regularly featured DJ at Eleven, New York's Joaquin "Joe" Claussell speaks about the sadness of the closing in this short documentary. As he puts it,
"Yellow and Eleven represent a culture of music that was incredibly special [...] Everything from the organization, to the people, the venue, the sound, and family. It's about family. [...] I want my children to know about the history of Eleven. If everyone flees from the scene, and it dies, what is there for them to see? to feel?"
This is the first short documentary in a series on Tokyo night life that you can watch on the One Nation Entertainment.JP Youtube channel.
