DMV rapper Wale dropped the latest fire from The Album About Nothing. Check out "The Followers" above.

In the vein of his 2008 mixtape, The Mixtape About Nothing, The Album About Nothing will be inspired by -- and feature samples from -- the show Seinfeld, with the track's titles following the same format of the episode titles. According to an MTV interview, Wale will be working with Jerry Seinfeld himself for the album. "The Followers" features an appropriate sample of an excited Seinfeld giving a pep talk about being a leader. Aside from all of the Seinfeld undertones, though, the track itself is dope. Preceded by a smooth, old school beat, Wale comes onto the track with ferocity. He revealed via Twitter yesterday that the track is "about where [he's] been at mentally."

Wale has said that The Album About Nothing will be solely for the fans. Given the success of The Mixtape About Nothing among fans, I'm sure The Album About Nothing will definitely be well-received. For the latest music, news, and videos from Wale, check out his Zumic artist page.
