These are exciting times for hardcore band Thrice as they have signed with a new label, Epitaph, and are planning to release a new album later this year, Palms. Above, you can check out a music video for "The Grey," a song which will be included on the upcoming LP.
The black-and-white visual sets an engaging backdrop for the heavy song that is reminiscent of the band's early 2000s material. Directed by Daniel Carberry, the video shows a ward of people who are seemingly hypnotized by another power. The inmates are running the asylum. Flashbacks of ocean water appear, and two women make a break for it in a dramatic chase sequence as the song reaches its conclusion.
Palms is scheduled for release on September 14, 2018. Pick it up on Amazon.
The band will be playing a few South American shows in August before heading out on a North American tour in September. For concert tickets and more, check out the Thrice Zumic artist page.
