The latest David Bowie music video, featuring acclaimed actors, Marie Cotillard and Gary Oldman was removed from Youtube earlier today. The video was removed just hours after it's release for violating youtube's "terms of service". Youtube was very ambiguous as to exactly why the video was removed, but the video features some intense religious imagery.
After keeping it off the website, the video was restored to Youtube, but has a "content warning" on the video. Billboard reports that a spokesman for the site has said “sometimes we make the wrong call.”
There is some questionable material in this video for sure, but did Youtube make the right call by taking it off their website?
