Released on Sept. 18, the official music video to "The Night Josh Tillman Came To Our Apartment" provides a slightly narcissistic twist on the original intent of the song's lyrics. The song is essentially a list of complaints Father John Misty (aka Josh Tillman) has about an unnamed girl. In this video, FJM is seduced by his own doppelgänger, calling into question his relationship with himself. Is he as critical of his nome-de-plume as he is of the girl in the song lyrics? As one YouTube commenter wrote, "this is exactly what everyone would do if they met their doppelgänger."

I Love You, Honeybear is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3). You can also stream the album for free and read our review right here on Zumic.
