Dinosaur Jr. have released their new song "The Only Other Way" as a part of a 7" they plan on pairing with their limited edition Skullcandy Headphones. The other side of the 7" will feature a live recording of their song "The Lung" from their critically acclaimed album You're Living All Over Me. You can listen to both songs above.
"The Only Other Way" sounds very similar to the staticy tones and styles they used on YLAOM which suggests that it might be the direction that they plan on heading in. They seem to be returning to their roots, as evidenced by the stint of shows they played last winter celebrating the album's 25th anniversary.
Skullcandy has teamed up with Dinosaur Jr. for these purple aviator style headphones. Consequence of Sound reports the headphones will be available via Skullcandy July 14th.
