Yesterday, indie rockers Dr. Dog shared a live video of them performing "The Rabbit, The Bat & The Reindeer," which you can watch above. The song is from the band's 2008 album, Fate. If you've never seen them in concert, here's what you've been missing.

The video captures all the energy that the band pours into for "The Rabbit, The Bat & The Reindeer." Beginning with the group about to take the stage, they deliver a high energy performance that gets the crowd pumped up. Shots of the band hanging out backstage and sharing laughs are also seen. Infectious guitar riffs, adrenaline-fueled drumming, and sing-a-long lyrics give life to this exciting song.

Singer Scott McMicken told American Songwriter that this song is a favorite of theirs to play and this video captures that energy:

This song has long been a favorite of ours to play and it’s always seemed like a crowd favorite too. Our buddy Coach made this video. He’s done a lot of stuff for us over the past few years and he keeps getting better at it. There’s a lot that happens at a show over the course of this one song and he did a great job of capturing that energy.

The song is from the band's recently released 2-LP live album, Live at a Flamingo Hotel. It's currently available on Amazon (Vinyl, MP3) and iTunes.
