Summer is just around the corner, and Cheap Trick is getting in the spirit with their new song "The Summer Looks Good On You." Listen above.
Beginning with rising vocal harmonies and propelled by guitar riffs reminiscent of The Who, the song bursts with energy. Robin Zander delivers confident vocals as he sings, "Here comes the summer, the summer looks good on you." Strings add a layer of orchestral depth to guitar and bass solos during an instrumental bridge.
The song will appear on Cheap Trick's upcoming album, which at this time does not have a release date or title. Pick up the single on Amazon.
The band is currently on a North American tour with Poison. For concert tickets and more, check out the Cheap Trick Zumic artist page.
