In collaboration with singer Jamila Woods, NE-HI has unveiled a new version of their song "The Times I'm Not There," which was originally released as part of their 2014 eponymous debut album. Check out the tune above, courtesy of the artist's YouTube channel.

While sonically akin to the original, the new take is markedly slower with a funkier groove that emphasizes Woods' exquisite vocals. In an email to The Fader, bassist James Weir explained, "The idea was to explore new melodies and textures to shape around the guitar hook... Jamila Woods, being the amazing vocalist that she is, came on and completely led the song into a new life."

The track was produced by Dave Vettraino and Dee Lilly, and all sales proceeds will be donated to Chance The Rapper's charity SocialWorks. Purchase a copy of the song on Amazon.
