Three weeks ago, Queens of the Stone Age released a brief trailer for the "Vampyre of Time and Memory" video, and said the full, interactive version would be released the day before Halloween. Well, after a delay of a few weeks, two versions of the full video are now available, a standard YouTube clip (above), and the interactive one.
Without giving away too much, the interactive "Vampyre of Time and Memory" video basically plops you inside of a creepy manor, and lets you pick from three separate music videos to watch: one of Queens of the Stone Age performing in front of a white background, one of them playing in a room full of hunting trophies, and one of a very scary woman lip synching along with the song. The YouTube version contains none of the interior shots of the manor, and splices together the three videos into one seamless clip.
