Kendrick Lamar shows his artistic nature on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with his performance of his song "These Walls." The track, which features singers Bilal and Anna Wise as well as bassist Thundercat, is featured on his critically acclaimed 2015 album To Pimp A Butterfly. Watch his stunning performance, via YouTube.

The Compton rapper is far from your average performer. While Kendrick is passionately rocking the mic, two dancers elegantly grace the stage and a painter creates a portrait of the dancers off stage. The dance floor lights up, reminiscent of Michael Jackson's iconic "Billy Jean" music video. A mainstream artist embracing true art is definitely refreshing to see. After the performance, Ellen goes on to say that Lamar is "brilliant" and praises him for his creativity and positive influence on the youth. She mentions that he was named the 35th Senate District's Generational Icon by the California State Senate.

To Pimp A Butterfly is available for order on Amazon (CD, MP3). You can also stream the album here on Zumic.
