Fellow Brooklynites Annie Clark of St. Vincent and The National joined forces two nights ago during The National's abosolutely amazing set in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. I was hoping for such an appearance as Clark has collaborated with The National multiple times before, and most recently on the haunting Trouble Will Find Me cut "This Is The Last Time", which is the song she joined them for at Barclays. My unbridled joy at hearing Matt Berninger announce Annie's arrival on the scene was immediately followed by the shock of seeing her new bleached blonde hair do... my desire to ask for Ms. Clark's hand in marriage remains unabated however.
