Now that we are in November, lots of special holiday concerts are coming soon. Among them is the one and only Trans-Siberian Orchestra who combine pop, rock, and classical music to great effect. Each concert is an exhilarating event that will capture your spirit and imagination.
With amazing musicianship and larger-than-life theatrics, Trans-Siberian Orchestra have been going strong since 1996. This year's theme is The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, which is based around a TV special the band did in 1999. TSO left the following description about the concerts on their website:
The Ghosts of Christmas Eve was an experiment, to take something that was conceived for TV and try to express that story live on stage. Integrating segments of the TV show, with a live narrator, and full rock band was something TSO has never done. It brought back so many memories to see Ossie Davis and everyone else who helped make that TV special into the annual tradition that it has become.
The overwhelming response from the fans during the 2015 Winter Tour drove the band's decision to take it back out on the road this year. As always we have new artists, new special effects and lots of surprises in store.
The band have over 100 concerts scheduled from November 17 to December 31. They make the most of the holiday season with two groups of musicians touring separately and playing concerts on the same day in different locations, as well as early shows and late shows in the same venues.
