Kelly Clarkson has finally released a video for her fun, joyous marriage anthem, "Tie It Up." The standalone country single was initially released in June, and just last night we saw a live performance of the song on ABC's CMA Festival.
The "Tie It Up" music video shows Clarkson, enthusiastic and dressed in white, performing in a barn full of happy couples. Between the kisses and cake-cutting of the brides and grooms, Clarkson flashes her own engagement ring as she smiles bounces around her stage. The video is interspersed with photos of real-life weddings sent in by Clarkson's fans. The pictures were originally intended for a lyric video for "Tie It Up," but that project was scrapped so the images could be part of the real music video. The clip is straightforward yet cute, and doesn't distract from the love and marriage themes.
Clarkson's own wedding to fiancé Brandon Blackstock (step-son of Reba McEntire) is set for this October. Later this year we can also expect a Christmas album from the versatile pop singer, and in 2014 Clarkson's sixth studio album should be ready for release.
