If you're a fan of hilariously weird hip hop, look no further than ex-Das Racist member Kool A.D.'s latest music video. "Tight" features Lakutis, Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire, a beat by Toro y Moi, and a whole host of amazing punchlines. Watch the video above.
With a chorus consisting of one word ("tight"), it's up to the song's verses to deliver the goods, and boy do they ever. Kool A.D. ironically compares himself to 2 Chainz, Lakutis tells us that girls often ward him by making the sign of the cross with their fingers and eXquire announces his verse by saying "Release the Kraken" -- all in all, not your typical hip hop song. It also helps that Toro y Moi comes through with an ominous beats that's just a few shades away from Nick Speed's beat on Danny Brown's "Detroit 187," and is almost entirely a black sheep among his usually-bright, funky compositions.
There's no word on the origins of "Tight," but Kool A.D. recently released the album Not O.K., which is available as a pay-what-you-want download on Bandcamp.
