One Direction's Niall Horan has released a video for "Too Much To Ask," the recent single from his debut solo LP Flicker, which is slated for an October 20 release date. Check out the clip above, courtesy of the artist's YouTube channel.
The tune, which was written alongside Jamie Scott and produced by Greg Kurstin, features a lovesick Horan hoping for a reconciliation with a past flame, singing "My shadow's dancing, Without you for the first time, My heart is hoping, You'll walk right in tonight, Tell me there are things that you regret, 'Cause if I'm being honest I ain't over you yet." Horan's earnest vocals are balanced nicely by the swirling piano-based arrangement.
Directed by Malia James, the film focuses on Horan as he sits longingly in a dimly lit room and then on the subway, struggling with the public affection of a nearby couple. The singer turns to his buds for a cathartic bar trip and jam session.
Horan is about to embark on a North America tour in October, and recently announced his 2018 Flicker World Tour with Maren Morris. For concert tickets and more, check out Niall Horan's Zumic artist page.
