Toquinho at SummerStage Central Park

Celebrating the success of the 12th Annual Brazilian Film Festival last week, Central Park's SummerStage was the venue for a free live concert by the internationally renowned Toquinho, a Brazilian singer, guitarist and composer.

The show was also a tribute to Bossa Nova composer Vinicius de Moraes, co-writer of the worldwide hit song “Garota de Ipanema” (The Girl from Ipanema), in honor of what would have been his 100th birthday.

Take a look at the SummerStage's Concerts and mark your calendar for upcoming shows, such as SBTRKT, John Butler Trio, Counting Crows, Beck, and Neon Tree.
