Brooklyn rockers Parquet Courts are set to release Content Nausea, their second full length of the year. It will be put out under the name Parkay Quarts, a name they used on their 2013 EP Tally All The Things You Broke. Listen to the first single from the record, "Uncast Shadow Of A Southern Myth," above.

The song has more of a folk-rock edge to it than past works by the band. It tells the story of a murder. The lyrical style is reminiscent of a classic Bob Dylan tune, and the track leads into an intense, exciting climax.

Content Nausea was recorded in the span of two weeks by vocalist Andrew Savage and guitarist Austin Brown. It also featured Jef Brown from Portland experimental group Jackie-O Motherfucker on saxophone and Bob Jones from Brooklyn-based band Eaters on fiddle. The album will be released November 11th on What's Your Rapture? and is currently available for pre-order at the label's webstore.
