DJ Mustard dropped "Vato" featuring YG, Jeezy, and Que last night. Listen to the ratchet tune above, via SoundCloud.
The beat is hard, with a signature layered synth melody and gigantic 808 kick drum. Bell chimes and flute sounds are laid over top to give the song a really awesome sound. Dr. Dre would certainly be proud of his LA homie for the slick production here. Just don't get this song mixed up with the 2006 single by Snoop Dogg and B-Real of the same name. Both songs revolve around a similar Los Angeles lingo and the culture where English and Spanish language mingle. Atlanta rappers Jeezy and Que come in to make the song even bigger, bringing together West Coast and Southern cultures. This much is clear: everyone loves nachos.
