On November 6, 2015, a new Bob Dylan collection of outtakes and previously unreleased versions of songs titled The Cutting Edge 1965-1966 will be released. Above, you can watch a new music video for "Visions of Johanna," which was directed by John Hillcoat.

You'll notice that this version of the song is noticeably more uptempo than the Blonde On Blonde studio version. There's a slight difference in the lyrics, and more of a rock and roll sound with uptempo drumming, warm organ, and electric guitar riffs that color the song.

For the video, we see archive footage of New York City mixed with images of a young Dylan on stage. There's a dark, mysterious undertone to the clip as images of blood, guns, and eyes are intertwined.

Other alternate takes that have been shared from the upcoming collection include "Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat," "Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again," "Sitting On A Barbed Wire Fence," "Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window?," and "It Takes a Lot to Laugh It Takes a Train to Cry."

The Cutting Edge 1965-1966 is scheduled for a November 6, 2015 release. Deluxe box sets are available on Bob Dylan's website. You can also pick up the Best Of... 2 CD version on Amazon (CD, MP3).
