2CELLOS, a Croatian duo that's become a YouTube sensation known for their cover of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" among other things, is bringing it back to the Baroque era in their exciting new video performing Antonio Vivaldi's "Concerto for Two Violins in A Minor" as part of their classical "Back to the Roots" concert at the Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, June 2015.

While these selections may not be as modern as their recent Avicii cover, 2CELLOS perform the arrangement with the vigor and rosin-y freshness that rivals the mammoth sonic impact of EDM. It's also important to note their attention to detail with regards historical authenticity; keeping a fairly steady tempo, sprinkled with rubato in the lament sections of the ritornello which is highly idiomatic of Baroque performance.
They've also shared a performance video of “Gabriel’s Oboe” by Ennio Morricone from the same concert.
