Zumic recommends you turn up your volume pretty loud for this one. The guitar parts are gorgeous and the band combines to create something really special here. There's a very cool coda section beginning at 5:05 that's hauntingly beautiful.

"Voices" is a particularly excellent song from Alice in Chains, and the official music video was just released today on YouTube (watch above). There are elements of a lyric video around the nightlife of the city, interspersed with shots of the band rocking out.

In the world of rock, there's something special about Alice in Chains. Super heavy guitars, layered harmonic vocals, and slow grooves bring to mind bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Yet, Alice in Chains have always remained unique with their songwriting sensibilities that are thoughtful and melodic.

The 2013 album The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is the band's first album since 2009, and their second since Layne Staley's death in 2002. Check it out on iTunes and Amazon.
